This painting was painted en plein air at Yosemite National Park. I painted this alongside fellow friends and painters from the California Art Club on an absolutely unforgettable day. El Capitan kept slipping in and out of the cold fog, teasing us all morning — but when it finally showed itself, it was pure magic. There’s just nothing else like it.
